THE EIFFEL TOWER
“This is John Harrison at the news
studio here is your news over to you Amber”. “Thanks John I am reporting to you
live from under the Eiffel Tower in Paris or France as some say”. “The
Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 the Eiffel Tower is ancient”.
“Did
you know that the Eiffel Tower needs 1469 elephant’s to balance out their
weight. That is a lot but the amazing Eiffel Tower weighs 10,000 tonnes and an average
elephant only weighs around 3 tonnes”.
“The enormous Eiffel Tower takes up
18038 pieces of iron. It doesn’t just have lots of iron it also has had
2,500,000 people visit it since it opened”.
“The Eiffel Tower is joined by2.5
million rivets
